Asperity passes ISO 27001 re-assessment as Secure File Uploaderâ„¢ is launched
Asperity Employee Benefits has passed its annual re-assessment for the ISO 27001 Information Security standard with flying colours.
With no ‘non-conformities’ at all, and hailed as ‘one of the best audits in years’ by the assessor, the accreditation was comfortably retained for another year.
Asperity became the first UK benefits provider to be accredited by BSi to the stringent ISO 27001 security standard in June 2009. The scope of our assessment covered all of our current operations – including employee discounts, childcare voucher and cycle to work programmes.
BSi’s strict initial three-stage auditing process took over a year and there is an annual re-assessment to retain the standard. Systems, processes, procedures, staff training and governance are all strictly vetted.
True to Asperity’s commitment to Information Security, confirmed by the BSi standard, the company has developed the Secure File Uploader to meet the need for a secure way to exchange data files.
