Asperity listed in Top 100 Best Small Companies To Work For 2011
Asperity Employee Benefits is celebrating its 5th birthday in style this month as it achieves Two Star Best Companies accreditation and is ranked in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies To Work For 2011 list, published yesterday.
The London-based company has been listed in the small companies category, for organisations with 50-250 employees, across a variety of sectors and industries. The listing is based on the Best Companies survey - the largest employee survey of its kind - with over 1,165 organisations taking part this year. The survey focuses on employee engagement and aims to report on the level to which employees feel involved with their organisation.
One million copies of The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies 2011 supplement were published last weekend. In it, Asperity's place is attributed to the company's MD, Glenn Elliott, being "an inspiration" for employees, as well as the fantastic employee benefits package on offer - perhaps not surprising for the UK's leading employee benefits provider.
Elliott said, "We're thrilled to have been placed in the top 100 and to have been accredited with the 2 star award by Best Companies. We take employee engagement and job satisfaction very seriously at Asperity, and I'm really pleased that this has come through in the survey results. We are a tight-knit team who work really hard. I am incredibly proud of what we've achieved in the 5 years we've been operating, and it couldn't have happened without the dedication and hard work of the whole Asperity team."
Asperity ranked 78th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies 2011 list.
